The certificate is around 33 cm in high

The medal was instituted by Decree 13294, on 4 October, 1948; issued in one class to commemorate Lebanon’s role in the campaign of five Arab countries (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt) against Israel to free Palestine.
It is granted to all military personnel (Officers and Individuals) who have participated or contributed to the military actions in Palestine.

    The Internal Security Medal

    Instituted by Decree 6656, on 18 April, 1995; awarded to all Internal Security forces without the requirement of seniority in service, provided that the reasons for awarding it are based on at least a recommendation from the Director General of the Internal Security Forces.
    It may be awarded on exceptional basis to civilians and military personnel who have performed great services or provided assistance to the Internal Security Forces; it was issued in one class and can be awarded only once.
